Investigative Reporters and Editors Inc. (IRE) is a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of investigative reporting. IRE was formed to create a forum for journalists throughout the world to help each other by sharing story ideas, newsgathering techniques and news sources.

This microsite was inspired by the mission of AccessFest, IRE’s online conference that focuses on diversity, belonging, equity and inclusion (DBEI) issues for newsrooms, as well as on making training materials more affordable and accessible for people from various backgrounds.

To create this page, we consulted IRE staff, IRE members and journalism leaders from various communities. We will continuously add to this list of materials. If you would like to suggest a resource, please fill out this form. We will review each entry and see if we can find a home for it on this site!
